Sellers Wheel is a three-story building home to two coffee spaces and two office spaces. Surrounding Sellers Wheel is new student accommodation along with university buildings. Elissa Dolman’s brief was to design a space that most suited her future career aspirations. Dolman designed a space for office workers on the upper floors with a café on the lower floor open to all users, workers, university students and the community. Dolman is designing a space for the future where people will want to visit and enjoy time out from work and their problems.

Dolman aimed to create a healthy office environment for workers so included biophilic design into her work. Alongside her research, she explored various ideas, detailed site analysis, sun path projections and precedent studies.

Her final concept is a new and improved café and office space with an additional seating and meeting area on the roof.
