Our attitude towards recreational drugs in the UK is still very taboo, despite pub culture and heavy drinking being an integral part of British society. Questioning whether creating spaces for taking psychedelics would help to reduce anti-social behaviour, Olivia Whiteley has proposed a garden where people can gather to safely experience hallucinogenic drugs, much like meeting up at a pub or club.

How a person travels through the space and their experience go hand in hand. A user takes a journey from the roots of the garden, where psilocybin will grow, continuing to the ground floor to take the drugs, then finally experiencing the drug in the canopy of the trees. Their experience evolves as a tree blossoms.
