Approximately 41% of gym users have been injured whilst working out, many of which occur purely because of taking shortcuts and failing to warm up sufficiently. Elevate is a product service composed of a wearable device and supporting smartphone app, primarily marketed at vulnerable gym users, such as new gym members and beginners.
It aims to bridge the gap between the high expense of personal training and being unaware of how to prepare for intense exercise safely, guiding users to the correct form and supporting warm up/cool down routines. The wearable tracker incorporates heart rate and body temperature sensors; the two key measurables to determine exercise readiness. This ensures the targeted muscles are ready to perform optimally, reducing the likelihood of injury and soreness.
