InstaSplint
InstaSplint is an innovated upper arm splint. By using inflation technology, when deployed, InstaSplint immobilises the break site and prevents further damage to the surrounding arm. By immobilising the break site, the risk of facture complications such as compartment syndrome, blood vessel damage and infection is reduced.
When inflated, the insert moulds around the arm to the unique shape of the break site. This means that the product can be used by everyone and cater to many different sizes of individual. The exterior shell of splinting solution is made from injection moulded polypropylene. This means that the product is flexible and can wrap around the arm and provide an essential rigid support.
