Optan Image 1 – 25.05.2021

Henry Williams has designed a smart hub and personal assistant device that allows employees to work with a constant direct communication line that individuals have control over. Optan is aimed at managers who want to improve communication and the remote working experience for their staff by offering an information source accessible via speech. The Covid-19 pandemic saw many UK companies shift to remote working. Despite the upheaval, some firms reported a 13% rise in employee productivity and post-pandemic up to 45% of major UK firms plan to significantly increase remote working.

With sensory lighting experiences and app extensions such as Calm, to combat anxiety, employee interaction and gaming experiences, Optan is tool for employer’s to care for their staff and their mental health. Optan gives employees control over their contactability and engagement to ensure privacy standards are met. The product is a tool to empower and educate whilst offering convenience, support and fun features like any existing smart hub device.
