The BaseCamp SDS

There has been lots of innovation in climbing equipment over the years. SDS Drills have replaced rock hammers and chisels to create holes in the rock for anchor bolts. Though the drills are taken from the construction industry, the drill lacks the requirements needed in this new application.

Charles Powell’s BaseCamp SDS has been designed to resolve many of the issues with the construction-based SDS, with a 3d printed titanium body skeletal body that helps to reduce the weight of the drill, multiple attachments for rope and quickdraws.
