MIMI WORLD is a visualisation of the landscape of human misery by Stella Hunt It’s an articulation of the world through the intermediary vessel of cute and gross fictionalised representations of intense emotional states relating to depression. Hunt works around the concepts of nonsense narratives to bring a sense of unreality to the worlds and characters she creates, taking heavily from the music and stylistic approach of Shibuya-Kei, as well as games, films, and graphic design movements.
