Miraoui’s recent work is centered around the theme of journey; her personal and artistic journey (incorporating all of these mediums and skills into one display), and the journey of the materials as they are rebirthed and immortalized in a different way. Specifically; the plastic bottle caps reimagined into unique brass pendants and then into necklaces, giving them an entirely new purpose and extends their lifespan. The flowers reminds the audience of the organic journey of life and death. How again, they are immortalized as these flowers that will never decay. The collage contains birthday cards, leaflets, packaging from gifts and scratch cards that had been gifted, photos and drawings. This allows those feelings and memories to live on past the time that they took place.
