This project is inspired from Justyna Maksymczak’s previous work which explores different types of material and their interaction with each other. The focus of the current project is on the design and making of a several ceramic bowls with the addition of a decorative and functional element made from different metals. Maksymczak wants to investigate how the materials interact in combination with each other and the feelings they evoke. She is interested in functional art: artwork that has a practical use.
