The canvas represents and shows the aftermath of a boxing ring canvas after a boxing match, leaving behind blood and sweat that looks like an abstract piece of work with splatters and marking all over; The floor is a boxers canvas and their feet and hands are their brushes and pencils, each marking tells a story of commitment, dedication, precision, hard work, press conferences, media, skill development, months of training leading to the fight; ideas, skills and preparation come together to create and perform one work. I thought using my worn community (Hallam boxing team) would inspire other Hallam students to try different things and be extortionary.
